EBAN VILLAGE APARTMENTS, DALLAS, TEXAS

Acquired 330 unit Multi-Family Complex. After acquisition, several updates to mechanicals were performed, new exterior painting, and roof replacements. Today, the occupancy has increased from sub 70% to over 96%.

SEA GREENS APARTMENT HOMES, PORT LAVACA, TX

Acquired 110 Single family homes from corporate Partner. After acquisition was completed, began renovation of homes to bring them to the Standard of Hope Housing Foundation. Today, this community continues to operate as an Affordable Apartment community.

LAKEWOOD TERRACE TOWNHOMES, BAYTOWN, TX

Partnered with HUD and another Non-Profit developer to acquire 168 single family townhomes. The majority of these homes were then sold as Rent-To-Own conversion mortgages, where HUD provided the long term mortgage for the former tenant, who became a homeowner.

POLO CLUB APARTMENTS, AUSTIN, TX

Apartment fire that damaged 18 units in one apartment building. MC-CDC settled insurance claim and is restoring the building to be more energy efficient and place building back in service quickly and efficiently.

STONERIDGE & CIMARRON PARK APARTMENTS (HURRICANE IKE), CONROE, TX

Wrote up full scope of work and handled the settlement of funds with insurance company from damage received from Hurricane Ike. This project is still in progress and should be completed by early spring.

BRANDYWOOD APARTMENTS (HURRICANE IKE), PASADENA, TX

MC-CDC handled all insurance negotiations between adjusters and engineers to ensure a full settlement from Hurricane Ike storm damage. There were 32 buildings that received either flood water or wind damage. This project is currently underway and should be completed by late spring.

CANTERBURY APARTMENTS, AMARILLO, TX

Old wooden stairs were removed and replaced with new metal stairs with metal railing.

AMARILLO GARDENS APARTMENTS, AMARILLO, TX

Mid-Continent developed the full scope of work in conjunction with coordinating all architects and engineers to complete a full working set of plans on this existing tax credit apartment community. The scope of work included full interior replacements of cabinets, paint, VCT tile, all plumbing and electrical fixtures, and making the complex as energy efficient as possible. All existing plumbing under buildings, doors, windows, and roofs were replaced as well. The old mansard style roof was removed and a new updated parapet wall and tapered roof system was installed. A new pool, playground, maintenance shop, mail kiosk, and clubhouse were built as well.

NORTHWOOD’S APARTMENTS, HOUSTON, TX

MC-CDC worked with the insurance company to ensure that all damage was accounted for to settle the claim. MC-CDC oversaw the build back of the fire damaged leasing office to its original state.
